Katie Thorson, DVM

Dr. Katie Thorson started at Kaukauna Vet Clinic in 2024. She grew up in Kimberly, and eventually went on to complete her undergraduate studies at UW-Oshkosh in 2016. She earned her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in 2020, and has since been practicing in the surrounding Fox Valley. She enjoys dermatology and takes a special interest intreating skin infections, wounds, and allergies. Above all, Dr. Thorson’s main focus in practice is to maintain the special bond that owners share with their pets.

Dr. Thorson married her husband, Craig, in 2021. They share a house full of animals with 4 cats and 2 dogs. She hopes to someday own a backyard flock of chickens. In her free time, Dr. Thorson enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, gardening, hiking, and watching Packer/Bucks games. She looks forward to meeting Kaukauna Vet Clinic’s clientele and their pets.
